Sharon has over 20 years’ experience in commercial disputes, and a particular expertise in building and construction. She has successfully represented a diverse range of clients including councils and NSW government departments, builders, developers, sub-contractors, consultants, owners corporations and high net worth individuals.

Sharon represents many of her clients in mediation and always works to avoid litigation where possible through other alternative dispute resolution (including mediation and informal settlement conferences). Where litigation cannot be avoided, Sharon has experience appearing in the District and Supreme Court, as well as the NCAT and prides herself on providing clients with exceptional results.

She acts for varied entities in Home Building Act, Design and Building Practitioners Act and Security of Payment Act claims. She also specialises in advising on construction contracts for principles, builders and contractors.

Sharon is the Founding Chair of The Haven – Nepean Women’s Shelter, a not-for-profit organisation focused on supporting women through domestic violence and homelessness in Western Sydney. With the support of her local council, Sharon volunteers her skills and time with the Shelter and her community in undertaking this valuable work.
